About the Role: The Data Architect will report to the Principal Investigator and play a central role in building the iCCH data platform. The project investigates how climate stressors (like salinity intrusion) affect the gut microbiome and human health. You will bridge the gap between engineering and statistics, creating reproducible analytical workflows for large-scale biological (stool) and environmental datasets.
Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Architecture: Partner with Data Engineers to design automated pipelines for the ingestion, cleaning, and processing of large-scale datasets.

Data Curation: Maintain a catalog of diverse climate and geopolitical data sources and assess their suitability for integration.

Statistical Analysis: Collaborate with scientists to conduct regression, time-series analysis, and spatial statistics to support research questions.

Data Governance: Uphold data versioning, metadata standards, and reproducibility to ensure long-term scientific integrity.

Spatiotemporal Integration: Normalize and integrate complex spatial and temporal data dimensions for joint analysis.

Coordination: Serve as the liaison among Data Engineers, Bioinformaticians, and project scientists.
Required Qualifications
